Why is Lord Rama known as Maryadapurushottam and Lord Krushna as Purnapurushottam?
Shrīrām is called the Supreme limit of Righteousness (Maryada-purushottam). (Nowadays limitations are called bondages!). Depending on the situation, at times Shrīkrushna crossed the limitations of Righteousness; but in reality since Shrīkrushna was one beyond the three components, The Supreme Being performing the Divine sport (Leelāpurushottam) and The Absolute Supreme Being (Purnapuru-shottam) Shrīkrushna was always beyond limitations.
