An invaluable gift from God: 5 seekers of S attained sainthood!

Announcement done by H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale during the first public graduation ceremony of S’s University of Spirituality!

The first moment of the first public graduation ceremony of S’s University of Spirituality!  At the venue, 200 seekers from the hermitage, and thousands of seekers across the world via web-site ‘live stream’ were present! Everyone’s curiosity was at its peak. 

…and the founder of S,H.H.Dr.Jayant Athavale arrived at the stage. After nearly four years, the seekers across the world had an opportunity to see Him! As per a proverb ‘Where there is spiritual emotion(bhāv), there is God’, which also means ‘Where there is God, there is spiritual emotion’, according to it, and due to the sight of H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale, spiritual emotion of seekers was awakened, and due to His salutary presence entire atmosphere was engulfed with Divine Conciousness(Chaitanya)!   

…and the felicitation ceremony begins!

H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale started giving guidance by wishing everyone Diwali greetings. All the chairs next to Him were vacant. H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale indicatively said ‘Who will take those seats, find out yourselves’. After giving guidance on topics such as ‘the History of University of Spirituality’, ‘Need of Saints for the society’, ‘Spiritual progress of the seekers of SS’ etc. H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale declared Mrs. Prema Kuvalekar, a seeker of Goa has attained sainthood. He said, “By doing individual spiritual practice that benefits only the seeker undertaking it(vyashṭi sādhanā)  at home, H.H Kuvalekar Aji has attained sainthood. She has set an example for the seekers who do spiritual practice(sādhanā)while staying at home”. Thereafter He declared Mr. Sadanand Naik, a seeker who performs Service unto Absolute Truth(sēvā) in the construction department of Ramnathi hermitage has attained sainthood. He said, “Sadanand baba has shown us that one can spiritually progress even if one is unable to read or write”. Next in the list was Mr. Mukul Madhav Gadgil, who performs Service unto Absolute Truth in the Holy-text compilation department.  

While declaring him as a Saint, He said, “In-spite of being deaf, he does spiritual practice with intense yearning. He does the Service unto Absolute Truth of elaboration of My compositions with perfection”. The fourth in the list was Mr. Sandip Alasi, who is a pillar of S’s Holy text production department. He declared him as a Saint with glorifying words, “Without Mr. Sandip Alasi, not a single Holy text can go for print”. At this incident, H.H Kuvalekar Aji, H.H Sadanand Naikbaba, H.H Dr. Mukul Gadgil, and H.H Sandip Alasi were honoured by the Holy hands of H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale. The entire group of Saints took their seats next to H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale and everyone got the answer of the question that H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale has asked at the start of the ceremony! The fifth in the list was Miss Anuradha Wadekar.

Her felicitation ceremony took place today between 9-10 a.m. at Devad hermitage (Āshram) . She was honoured by the Holy hands of H.H. Pande Maharaj. H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale said with praising words, “In-spite of severely suffering from distress due to negative energies, Miss Anuradha Wadekar has excelled in spirituality due to the virtue of Unconditional love(Prīti).”

Just in time of Diwali festival, five new gems in form of Saints were added in the S’s lineage of Saints. On the occasion of Diwali, God has given such an invaluable gift to S. While the felicitation ceremony of Saints was in progress, many had the tears of spiritual emotion rolling out from their eyes, some were stood still and some were overflowed with spiritual emotion. This ceremony of Bliss inadvertently transformed to a ceremony of spiritual emotion.    

…but this was not the end, now it was the time for felicitation of the seekers who have attained a spiritual level of 60%. H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale further said, “S has 160 seekers who have a spiritual level over 60%, and now two more are added in them, this is news of joy for all of us. Mr. Madhav Gadgil Kaka, who is the father of H.H Dr. Mukul Gadgil and performs Service unto Absolute Truth of Office management of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, has been felicitated at Devad hermitage

In-spite of a late start in his spiritual practice, he has attained such progress due to the virtue of perseverance. Today another seeker who has attained a spiritual level of 60% is Mr. Dinesh Shinde. H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale further said, “Mr. Shinde is tirelessly performing sēvā since past 21 years, and he is the source of S’s Audio-visual department”. He was honoured by the Holy hands of H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale.

When the felicitation ceremony was concluded and while paying gratitude H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale said, “In this Kaliyug within the Kaliyug, many seekers will attain sainthood, hence my worry ‘what will happen to the humankind’ is taken away by the God. Therefore, I pay gratitude at His feet. It is difficult to attain sainthood than establishment of a Hindu Nation. Those seekers who attain sainthood will together establish a Hindu Nation by the virtue of their Resolve(sankalpa). I feel immense gratitude towards all the seekers who have heartily performed Individual spiritual practice that benefits only seeker undertaking it to fulfil my aim to establish a ‘University of Spirituality’. ”

A seeker who draws subtle pictures, Mrs. Yoya Vallee from France, was not able to understand the entire felicitation ceremony which was conducted in Hindi language, but still her spiritual emotion was continuously awakened for one and half hours. Seekers at various places were watching this program via internet; they too were overwhelmed with spiritual emotion.

This felicitation ceremony was actually a Divine play of Shrī Guru Himself and all the seekers who were present there to get an experience of such an opportunity were engrossed in the emotion of gratitude at a same time! A ceremony which is second to none and which started in a blissful atmosphere, towards the end, filled the eyes of all the people present with tears of gratitude, and such Divine ceremony approached its conclusion!    

If the words have Divine Consciousness, only then they can have an affect beyond the words on the minds of others. Only by performing appropriate spiritual practice, the words can have Divine Consciousness. S teaches how to do the correct spiritual practice . – H.H. Dr.Jayant Athavale
