1. Introduction 

The festival of Raksha Bandhan is celebrated on Shravan Paurnima. Tying rice, gold, and white mustard in a pouch makes raksha i.e. rakhi. A rakhi is supposed to be tied on the wrist of a brother by his sister. The underlying intention of the rakhi is to ensure the brother's prosperity and progress and to remind the brother of his duty is to protect his sister. 
The frequencies emitted from a rakhi benefit both siblings. That is precisely why one must choose a rakhi which will preserve the God principle for longer periods of time, instead of choosing one that is attractive on the gross level. If one picks a rakhi that just looks attractive, the three attributes (trigunas - sattva raja and tama) from the rakhi have an effect on the embodied souls and their attitudes too become spiritually impure (raajasik-taamasik).

2. Special features of the Sanatan raakhi

• The raakhi designed by the founder of Sanatan Sanstha, H.H. Doctor, evokes a sheath of frequencies of the energies of desire (ichchha-shakti), action (kriyaa-shakti) and knowledge (dnyaan-shakti) of Sree Krushna and these frequencies are always active with continuous velocity.

• It becomes easier to understand the manifest (sagun) and unmanifest (nirgun) forms of the Guru principle (Gurutattva) through the logo on the Sanatan raakhi. After tying the raakhi, the principles of various deities, which are essential for the embodied soul, are attracted and absorbed by the frequencies of the Guru principle (Gurutattva).

• The spiritual purity (saattvikata) of the physical body increases by 0.25 percent when a Sanatan raakhi is tied to the embodied soul.

• Tying a Sanatan raakhi activates the moon energy channel (Sushumna naadi) of the embodied soul which controls the intensified sun energy channel (Surya naadi) to some extent.

• The divine consciousness (chaitanya) emitted from the Sanatan raakhi is aligned in a straight line from the tropic of the earth to the tropic of the universe.

• The black covering around the mind and intellect of an embodied soul is reduced by 0.25 percent after tying a Sanatan raakhi.

• Even after removing the Sanatan raakhi, the physical body of the embodied soul receives its benefit for 3 more hours due to its subtle existence.

• The flower of the Sanatan raakhi constantly emits a subtle fragrance.

3. The manifest and unmanifest benefits of the Sanatan raakhi

.  Following are the benefits of the raakhi at the manifest and unmanifest levels.

Manifest (sagun) benefits

1a. The awakening of the spiritual emotion (bhaav) of seekers:

The raakhi created by H.H. Doctor has the capacity to attract upto 5 percent of the manifest frequencies of divine consciousness (chaitanya) from God. Through this raakhi, the seeker comes in contact with the manifest divine consciousness (chaitanya) of God and his dormant spiritual emotion (bhaav) gets awakened quickly due to being in contact with the actual action of awakening (kriyaa-jaagruti). 

1c. The activation of the Shiv principle in men, everywhere in society

The religious festivals celebrated in the Indian (Bhaartiya) culture are oriented towards moving the embodied soul from the manifest to the unmanifest. Rakshaa Bandhan is a festival which awakens the Shiv form through the medium of the energy (Shakti) form. The overall functional process of Rakshaa Bandhan is to activate the Shiv principle and to control the yama frequencies with the help of this activation.  After the activation of the Shiv principle via this process, the actual Rakshaa Bandhan is done to support the situation for the actual accomplishment of the action.

In the current era, the raakhi's available in society are filled with raja-tama, which destroys the Shiv principle activated in the embodied soul (jiva) very quickly. The rakhi created by H.H. Doctor has profuse functional energy of God, due to which the Shiv principle attained by the jiva is sustained for a longer period, in an active state.

1d. The ability to imbibe the God principle through the action of actually tying the raakhi

During Rakshaa Bandhan a ghee lamp platter is rotated (aukshan) around the jiva (embodied soul) in order to activate the Shiv principle.  Due to the action of aukshan, the divine consciousness (chaitanya) of God from the universal hollow, gets attracted towards the embodied soul (jiva) in a stable unmanifest form and with the help of the activated Shiv principle, it is imbibed by the jiva.

Raakhi's manufactured in recent times have a maximum capacity of 2 percent to activate the functional energy. Due to this, God's Divine Consciousness (chaitanya) coming towards the embodied soul (jiva) cannot be imbibed by the jiva as much. The Sanatan raakhi created by H.H. Doctor (the Founder of FHA) has a capacity of 5 percent to activate the functional energy, due to which the Shiv principle in the jiva is activated and it can imbibe the Divine Consciousness (chaitanya) from God easily.

Unmanifest (nirgun) benefits

2a. The projection of waves of action into the universe:

The divine consciousness (chaitanya) emitted from the unmanifest form of the Sanatan raakhi is not limited up to the manifest world, but is projected beyond the universe (Brahmand). The functional waves of this Divine Consciousness (chaitanya) are also projected in the universe and they help the desire frequencies of Brahma, gain velocity.

2b. The destruction of the increasing raja-tama pressure in the universe through this divine action:

Due to the actual functional frequencies projected from the unmanifest form of the Sanatan raakhi as well as the existence of radiance or divinity, seeds of radiant divine consciousness (chaitanya) are created in the universe. Through these seeds of radiance, huge radiant rays are created in the universe and they gain velocity. Thus, the seeds of the spiritually impure components (raja-tama) along with the roots of their existence, are destroyed.     

2c. The attraction of the functional frequencies from the universe towards the surface of the earth:

Due to the actual attraction of the Sanatan raakhi and due to the thin layer of divine energy in the upper portion of the universe, spiritually pure (sattva-raja) frequencies are created. These frequencies are attracted towards the earth's surface and move towards it, in a straight line, from the universe. Due to this, the black covering created on the earth's surface, by the subtle sorcerer (maantrik) with the help of yama frequencies, is destroyed.

2d. Controlling the lower unprogressive heat frequencies from spreading into the atmosphere:

On this day, yama frequencies are functional in the atmosphere. To take over the control of these yama frequencies, the subtle sorcerers (maantriks) project functional frequencies of heat energy from the lower hell region (paataal). Due to these frequencies, the heat in the atmosphere is increased and the vital energy existing in the embodied soul (jiva), starts going upwards with the help of this heat energy.

Due to the divine consciousness (chaitanya) filled radiant rays emitted from the unmanifest form of the Sanatan raakhi, the frequencies of heat energy spreading in the atmosphere, are controlled. The vital energy existing in the physical body of the embodied soul (jiva) is freed from the heat energy and starts its journey, easily.

2e. The imbalance created in the universe is controlled through the medium of Sanatan raakhi:

The chaitanya filled divine functional energy of Sree Krushna maintains the balance of the universe by flowing through the universe. This energy gains velocity in the universe, through the unmanifest form of the Sanatan raakhi, on this day. It gets activated to become functional according to the situation and through this medium, the imbalance created in the universe is controlled appropriately. 

4. Spiritual experiences related to the Sanatan raakhi*

After holding the Sanatan raakhi, experienced vibrations similar to the vibrations which created the universe and realised that this universe is 'Omkaar.'

On 5th August, 2005 I picked up a Sanatan raakhi in order to have a look at it. Suddenly I started feeling very good and my mind became thoughtless. I was looking out of a window at this time. I then experienced vibrations similar to those which created the universe. I realised that I could experience those vibrations because of the Sanatan raakhi and my spiritual emotion (bhaav) was awakened. A subtle sound of 'Omkaar' had started internally a few days ago. I realised that the raakhi emitted similar vibrations and I felt that this universe is 'Omkaar'. 

Tiredness of mind vanished after looking at the rakhi with 'Guru-disciple' logo and felt that waves of divine consciousness (chaitanya) are emitting through it.

On 27th July, 2004 I was feeling tired mentally, was feeling unenthusiastic and restless without any reason. I prayed at H.H. Doctor's feet, "I do not understand anything. You teach me to get out of this situation without wasting precious time of spiritual practice (saadhanaa)."  After that I went to do seva and opened up a parcel of raakhi's for distribution. Spiritual emotion (bhaav) was awakened by looking at the raakhi and the Guru-disciple logo on it. Waves of divine consciousness (chaitanya) were coming towards me, through it. After that my chanting continued from within for three hours, rhythmically and with spiritual emotion (bhaav). I was feeling very happy and enthusiastic. I felt some sensation on the mid-brow region while writing this spiritual experience (anubhuti). 

Master Aaditya requested and said, "Tie this God's raakhi first" after seeing the Sanatan raakhi.

For the 2004 Rakshaa Bandhan, my daughter Miss. Niyoti sent a Sanatan raakhi to her brother, Aaditya. Meanwhile, he had received many other raakhi's from his other sisters. On the day of Rakshaa bandhan, Master Aaditya saw all the raakhis and chose the Sanatan raakhi saying "Tie this God's raakhi first" and got it tied.
